Blair Herter Beams Down to the Las Vegas Star Trek Convention
This Ikea campaign won Best of Show at the Obie Awards.
This Ikea ad campaign won Best of Show at the Outdoor Advertising Association of America's 62nd annual Obie Awards. The Crispin Porter + Bogusky campaign featured large-scale furniture props made by us, including cabinets and chairs, hanging off billboards that were designed to resemble price tags.

Rustycon
Tim Vittetoe spoke on four
panels at Rustycon, a popular Sci-Fi convention held at the beginning of
the year in Bellevue, WA. Tim co-hosted discussions on sword and prop creation,
electronics in costuming, painting miniatures and scenery creation, and non-traditional
modes of armor. Terry English, who has created armor for movie classics such as
Excalibur, Aliens III, Joan of Arc, and Batman and Robin (Mr. Freeze), was there to lead
the discussions on armor creation.
We constructed Posie the Robot for the Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) to promote their book "Millenium Mischief" at the 5th Annual Festival of Books held April 29th and 30th at UCLA.. More than 100,000 Southern Californians attended the weekend event, including Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, shown here with the Young Entrepreneurs Society and well-known Rose Parade float designer Raul Rodriguez. Posie will also make appearances at other shows across the country.
Appearance at Charity Screening of Star Wars Episode I
Tim Vittetoe made an appearance as Boba Fett for the charity screening of Episode I at the Cinerama in Seattle. About $500,000 was raised for a local Children's Hospital by selling tickets for $500 and $1000 each.
